We received so many fantastic imaginative entries for our reading challenge. We were inundated with wonderful pictures of our pupils (and staff!) caught reading in unusual and also everyday places.
For some this was on day trips to castles, museums or up the Shard, for others it was in the shower, on the car or curled up with a furry friend. We love reading, and we wanted to show everyone how easy it is to enjoy a book wherever you are.
With so many deserving entries, we couldn't decide on just one winner and so we have three winners of the 2017 challenge. The winners were announced in our school celebration assembly on 3rd March and they were each presented with a winner's certificate and a book prize. They are:
Jessica
who was caught bravely reading Demon Dentist in a dentist chair.
Sara
our very own flower, planted in a giant flower pot while reading Harry Potter.
Evie
reading Stick Man under her very own stick man tree, in her garden.
Thank you to everybody who took part. We hope you can soon come and see the Wall of Fame display which has already been causing staff and pupils to stop in awe.
This challenge has inspired our pupils to get caught reading anywhere and everywhere!
