Today great fun was had by a selection of pupils from years 1-5, they unwrapped and discovered the new books bought for the library.  

The new Roald Dahl covers were added to our library stock, as well as the new Harry Potter covers.  The fiction selection included books from the Dork Diaries range, Cartoon Kid, Future Ratboy and Stinkbomb & Ketchup Face! 

There were also lots of non-fiction books including one about Vikings, a selection from the Horrible Geography range and a book that included a giant expanding time-line from The Science Museum complete with magnifier.

The books were very colourful and lots of them had funny titles that made the children want to read them there and then!  We can't wait for our Junior Librarians to complete the big task of labelling the books and adding them to the library shelves, ready for us to borrow them.
