We were lucky enough to have Frank Sudlow from CAFOD come in and talk to the whole school about the work they do across the world. He then spent time working with year 4 to show us how important a good water supply is.
We had fun collecting water from the river in buckets and using it for cooking, growing crops, giving to the animals, making clothes and a whole range of other things - all done inside the classroom too! Frank then explained the important work that CAFOD do in installing water pumps in the developing world and the fantastic effect this has on the lives of the people, the children in particular.
