Between Tuesday 9th - Friday 12th July we will be running a Mission Week. Throughout the week, we will be welcoming a number of priests to help us to reflect on our mission statement: Walking Together in the Light of the Lord, including Bishop Peter, who will be with us on Wednesday morning.
There will also be a number of events for parents to attend.
On Tuesday afternoon, we will have a parent reflection in the Emmaus Room at 2:45pm.
On Wednesday, we will celebrate Cultural Day. There will be a separate letter to inform you of full details for the day this but you are all invited to the school hall at the end of the day to celebrate food, music and dance from different cultures.
On Thursday afternoon, we will have our music recital from 1:45pm. We will hold this outside (weather permitting) just like a Festival in the Park set up. Children will be encouraged to bring a picnic and you are welcome to join them as they listen to their peers play the instruments they have learnt this year. You will also have the opportunity to hear our children sing some of their favourite hymns and worship songs.
On Friday afternoon, we will finish with a whole school Mass. This will also serve as the Leaver’s Mass for Year 6, who will be blessed during the mass as we pray for them on the exciting journey they have ahead. Year 6 parents and carers are very welcome to join us at this celebration Mass.
We hope that you will be able to join us for as much of our celebration as you can.
Please keep an eye on our newsletter and website if you cannot make it to our celebrations.
