WINNERS! Primary Engineer Leaders Award

Among our pupils we have winners of the Primary Engineer Leaders Award 2018-2019 for the Central Region!

Three of our children are the winners of their Year Group of the Central England entries:
Sophia from Year 2
Mati from Year 3
Aston from Year 4

Earlier this year, as part of Science Week, we asked ourselves "If I was an inventor, what would I do?".  We really enjoyed the experience of becoming inventors, designing some really exciting and amazing solutions to everyday problems.

Some of our winners and their families attended the Awards Ceremony and Exhibition, where our winners were presented with their Trophies.  They were then among the first to see their work on display at an exclusive preview of the exhibition at Coventry University.

We're very pleased to announce that the following pupils were also chosen to have their designs on display at a public exhibition:

Well done to all our Central England award winners and runners up and to the 185 other children who took part from our school.  We hope this competition has ignited a love of science and engineering!

Thank you to Miss Harrison for organising the competition within Science Week earlier this year and for inspiring our children to enter the competition with such wonderful inventions!
