On 2nd July Mrs Dunckley, Mrs Hayfield, Miss Kelk, Miss Shaul, Ms Sproson, Miss Wright and Miss York completed an extreme abseil down the tallest permanent abseil tower in the world, at Northampton's National Abseil Centre.
Donning their colourful custom made t-shirts, complete with team name and date of their extreme challenge they descended the 400 ft. tower. The weather was bad but the abseil went ahead inside the tower. The group raised a magnificent £1125 for MacMillan Cancer Support, beating their target of £1000.
